There's a reason why the phrase "don't get high off your own supply" exists.
According to East Idaho News, Leland Ayala-Doliente, 22, and Holland Sward, 23, were not only transporting 20lbs of weed from Las Vegas to Bozeman, Montana, they were puffing and passing along the way. Apparently it was some good shit because the two got so paranoid, they thought they were surround by cops.
In the probably the most comical dispatch call ever, Ayla-Doliente confessed to trying to bring weed across the Idaho border. In the 911 call he says, "...all your cops are just driving around like a bunch of jack wagons and I'd just like you guys to end it. If you could help me out with that, we would like to just get on with it."
he dispatcher entertained the conversation long enough to get a location and sent a marked car to their location off U.S. Highway 20. Cops found Ayla-Doliente and his accomplice Sward outside their vehicle, hands behind their heads, and 20lbs of weed piled in a garbage bag inside a dog cage.
A modern day Bevis and Butthead.
Since the time of the arrest, Sward pled guilty, was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and is currently on a five-year probation, while Ayala-Doliente was sentenced to one and a half to eight years in prison. The time increased after he tested positive for marijuana and oxycodone on the day of his sentencing.
Have you ever been so high you told on yourself?
