It’s the “greatest show on Earth” and it’s not Ringling Bros. Season two of Spike TV’s Lip-Sync Battle goes hard and the performances keep getting better. The latest episode shows former QB and College Football Analyst Tim Tebow, joining the fun in a “sweaty” rendition of rock band Survivor’s "Eye of the Tiger."
Tebow recreates the infamous Rocky Balboa scene and lets us know that Heisman trophy wasn’t a giveaway. His choreography consists of weighted rope work, punching a slab of meat and hitting some quick free-form jabs all while making sure those lyrics are on point. The show hasn’t aired yet, but the clip below gives you a sneak peek of what to expect.
His competition, Canadian actress and model Nina Dobrev, is about to see what a real athlete does. But Tebow isn’t the first one to grace the Lip-Sync Battle stage. Previous episodes have shown Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Michael Strahan, Nick Young and Deion Sanders.
Lip-Sync Battle has turned cute karaoke into one of the hottest TV shows during primetime. The latest buzz came from Channing Tatum’s stellar performance of Beyonce’s Run the World and sealed it when she showed up on stage. This week’s episode proves to be just as good.
You can check out Lip-Sync Battle hosted by LL Cool J with Chrissy Teigen on the 1s and 2s, Thursdays at 10 PM EST on Spike TV.
